Rugby is played during the first 4 terms of the school calendar with matches on every Saturday against local schools. The Y7 and Y9 tours take place in term 3, the girls rugby Cambridge tour goes annually in Term3, and the bi-annual senior tour takes place near the end of the summer holiday. During the 3rd and 4th terms, teams will also play Rugby 7s. Throughout the year the school will compete in fixtures each week against other schools as well as the County Cup and NatWest Vase competitions.

We have 5 rugby pitches at the school field and the Parents Association run the very popular Ruck Shop cafe in the Pavilion every Saturday during the season. Click here for the 2023-24 fixture card.

Cricket is played during the final two terms of the school calendar, with winter nets happening throughout the rest of the year. In recent years the school cricket tours have gone to Barbados and Dubai. The school competes in fixtures every Saturday in the summer as well as the County Cup competitions. There are 3 outdoor cricket nets at the school field and 4 indoor nets in the Becket Sports Centre. We also have a grass cricket square and an artificial strip. 

Athletics has practice throughout the school year, with indoor competitions happening during the winter and spring terms and outdoor fixtures in the summer term. The school competes in the Lee Valley Indoor Cup, the Lee Valley Outdoor Cup, the English Schools Cup, Kent Schools, Kent Clubs as well as inter School fixtures. Facilities for athletics at the field have improved vastly over the last few years. The school now boasts a 60m all-weather running track with a 6-lane pit, a high-jump fan, and a competition grade throwing cage. The result of improved facilities is evident in the achievements of the students: see records for indoor events, outdoor track and outdoor field events and combined events. 

Netball has practice and matches during the winter and spring terms, the netball tour takes place in term 3.

One netball court is laid out indoors in the Becket Sports Hall, and there are two more outside. 

In addition, the Becket Sports Hall on site at the school allows for practice at many other kinds of sport and recreation for staff and students, notably also providing a fully-equipped gym for fitness training.
