The Application Process

Thank you for showing interest in applying to Dartford Grammar School for a place in September 2019.

Internal Students

There is no need to make a formal application if you are an internal student in Year 11.

External Applications for those who currently attend a Kent school

You will need to apply on-line using the Kent Area Prospectus: www.kentchoices.com

This is a straight forward process and if you currently attend a Kent school you will have been issued with a username and password to enable you to do this.

External Applications for those who do not currently attend a Kent school

If you attend a school outside Kent it is a simple process and you should follow the steps below:

STEP 1 

Log on to www.kentchoices.com

Click in the ‘Search and apply’ box, then click on ‘search and apply for courses’.

STEP 2

This will take you to the UCAS Progress site.  Click on ‘I don’t have an account’.  Sign up to use UCAS Progress by selecting your current school and follow the sign-up procedure to register

STEP 3

Make and on-line application to Dartford Grammar School selecting your subject choices:  3 at IB Higher Level and 3 at IB Standard Level along with your predicted GCSE grades and current email address. 

Applications must be received by Wednesday 9th January 2019. Any received after this date will be considered on merit.

STEP 4

Mrs Longhurst will then contact you to invite you in for a discussion relating to your subject choices.
