DGS Team crowned best delegation at Model United Nations Conference

On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November, twenty year 12s & 13s took part in the third annual King's College London Model United Nations Conference. MUN is a very exclusive international society and almost exclusively competed in by fee-paying schools. Schools from across the UK, EU and even as far afield as the US took part in this particular conference.

Our students did very well and were crowned the Best Delegation for the whole conference. Julia Huyhn and Samuel Carlier both won Best Delegate for their respective committees and given scholarships to the UK's biggest MUN conference in 2019. Josh Phan was awarded the Chair's Commendation for his presentations.

We are very proud of all twenty students to have put their diplomacy and negotiations skills to such good use and wish them all the best for future conferences. And we are grateful to Mr Coetzee who gave up his time to prepare the team and support them at the conference.
