DGS wins the Education Business ICT Innovation Award

Dartford Grammar School has won the ICT Innovation Award given by Education Business, an organisation which has pioneered the recognition of school achievements since its inception in 1998. 

The school was shortlisted for the Education Business ICT Innovation Award, sponsored by Fujitsu,  which goes to the educational establishment in the UK that can demonstrate innovation in its approach to teaching and deploying Information and Communication technologies that further the learning experience of its students.On 26 November the results were announced in a virtual ceremony, and Dartford Grammar School won the category after being shortlisted with City of London School, Reading School and Park House School Newbury. 

The school was chosen for its work as a computing hub, a role which sees us supporting teachers and schools across the southeast in delivering an engaging computing curriculum. There was special mention for the way we maintained that support throughout Lockdown 1, which was a strong feature of this year's awards.
