Dressage Success for Govind Nambiar (Year 9)

During the term break on June 1st 2022, Govind Nambiar, Year 9, competed in the London Regional Para Dressage Competition. British Dressage has one of the most developed pathways for equestrian disability sport in the world, offering endless competition opportunities from grassroots to Olympic level, and we are delighted that Govind won this Regional event and now moves to compete in the National Championships in July. 

We cannot underestimate the hard work and dedication that has gone in to this achievement, with dressage being a sport of such meticulous detail. We congratulate Govind and wish him the very best of good fortune in the Nationals and hopefully beyond. 

Notably, the blue tie he wore on the day was gifted to him recently by Pablo Seema-Roca who left us in Year 13 as one of our most successful athletes. Such a heartening story of support from Pablo and a testimony to the relationship they built over the time they shared at Dartford Grammar School!
