IB Results 2023
Congratulations to the Year 13 class of 2023 on a very strong set of IB exam results. This is the product of their hard work in the sixth form, and the considerable efforts and support of their subject teachers and parents.
Exam results this year have returned to pre-pandemic levels, so we are delighted that students achieved an average points score of 35.2, the score required for most Russell Group universities, and well above the global average of 30.2.
Particular congratulations go to Ainoa Cernohorsky who achieved the maximum 45 points, achieved by only a handful of students worldwide, and to Lucien Asbury-Perret and Naim Ghantous for achieving 44 points. These scores make them part of a global elite.
Most importantly, our students have achieved the grades to head on to an impressive range of universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, LSE and Imperial. Universities start confirming places for IB students immediately, and so far 44 students head on to study Medicine and allied subjects, 26 to Computer Science and allied; 41 to Economics and finance related courses, 16 to Engineering and 13 to Law. These numbers will increase as offers are clarified.
