Houses

There is a house system to which students belong throughout the school - they are assigned to a house on entry in Year 7 or Year 12 and remain a member of that House until they leave us. House points accrue throughout the year in a number of areas (contributions to school life, sports, expressive arts, subject areas) and every July the Scrivener Shield is awarded to the House with most points. Each house also works throughout the year to raise funds for a chosen charity.

The Scrivener Shield Results for the year ended July 2024 

1st place: D'aeth with 43125 points

2nd place: Wilson with 42865 points

3rd place: Vaughan with 39950 points

4th place: Havelock with 38860 points

5th place: Gwyn with 36890 points
